Velvet tulip original watercolor

Velvet tulip original watercolor. Velvet black tulip. One of the watercolors from a series of tulips that I painted in the beautiful Sigurta Park in Italy during the tulip bloom. My task was to draw each flower on the inhale and finish on the exhale. I hope my airy tulips capture the short-lived beauty of bloom.
