Walking through beautiful Venice, I saw this young girl on the promenade of Piazza San Marco. She was in an emerald dress, her brown eyes from under a carnival mask were fixed on the Venetian lagoon, flying seagulls, the church of Santa Maria della Salute … Who is this girl? Where did she come from? What she thinks about, looking into the distance… I don’t know… this is the charm of the Venice Carnival, carnival costumes and masks hide individuality, but give a lot of room for imagination…
With this watercolor portrait, I participated in the watercolor contest in Cagliari, was shortlisted and entered the final exhibition.
