In 2019, before the Covid-19 pandemic, the ESDE gallery held the 4th international watercolor competition. My watercolor “Look. Carnival in Venice” made it to the final of the competition. I was very glad to have this opportunity to take part in the exhibition in Cagliari. The exhibition took place in January 2020, before the announcement of a general quarantine. Remembering this event now, I feel nostalgia, meeting with artists from different parts of the world: Canada, France, Thailand, Russia, Italy, Vietnam, Peru, Poland, Hong Kong, Brazil….. what a carefree time it was without medical masks …
